POBJFKHS Business Department Students Earn AMA Certifications

Throughout the 2025-2026 school year, the Plainview-Old Bethpage High School Business Department expanded opportunities for students in its advanced marketing courses taught by Ms. Lindsay DeLucca, by offering industry-recognized certifications through the American Marketing Association (AMA).
Students enrolled in Marketing 2 completed specialized coursework in social media marketing and successfully earned the AMA Social Media Marketing Certification. Meanwhile, students in Marketing 3 demonstrated their knowledge of core marketing concepts and earned the AMA Marketing Certification.
These certifications provide students with valuable industry credentials, enhance their college and career readiness, and demonstrate their proficiency in key marketing competencies sought by employers and higher education institutions.
