On April 16, the Moot Court Club at Plainview-Old Bethpage John F. Kennedy High School, led by advisors Ms. Nancy Rogers and Ms. Gina Farrell, hosted its 35th annual Moot Court Tournament. Student teams from districts across Long Island competed in a series of mock trials judged by alumni, local attorneys and community members.

POBJFKHS was represented by two teams: Lidia Dzelalija, Evyenia Mantzoukas and Elizabeth Shuleshov, and Brady Bornstein, Lauren Katz and Jake Melniker. After advancing through multiple rounds of competition, the team of Lidia, Evyenia and Elizabeth reached the final round, where they faced a strong Massapequa High School team and ultimately earned the victory.

The District remains committed to supporting a wide range of clubs and opportunities that encourage student engagement, skill development and real-world learning experiences.
