Plainview-Old Bethpage John F. Kennedy High School senior Ray Tao nominated Dr. Brian Carter, director of bands, for recognition by the National Society of High School Scholars. As a result, Dr. Carter was selected as a Claes Nobel Educator of Distinction, an honor recognizing educators worldwide for their dedication, leadership and impact in the classroom.
